The Tangoe Pay Analyst is responsible for initiating and managing telecom payments on behalf of the client. The admin is assigned a minimum of 25 client accounts and is responsible for understanding and executing payments based on the client expectations. This includes an understanding of each client's A/P process for the purpose of applying funds based on their allocation of funds per batch processed. The analyst is also required to utilize and maintain data within the Tangoe Pay Admin Tool, review client reports and general payment research. Constant communication with Service Delivery teams is essential to facilitate this process, which includes funding status, payments processed and any payment research needed.

 

Responsibilities:

• Review all client bank accounts daily for activity and allocate funds using internal application. Initiate payments once 100% of funds are received based on vendor profiles.

• Continuously review and prioritize work load during each day. Provide accurate and timely response to any client related escalations. Ensure to follow up on all issues until resolved. 

• Collaborate with the Internal Tangoe Teams regarding any client related questions and to understand client’s process and funding patterns. 

• Review all batches for items outside the normal payment process, including invoices paid with emergency funds and pre-funds. 

• Review daily/weekly/monthly reports and act on any issues. This is key to ensuring payments are generated to the vendor.

• Utilizes resources including bank portal to complete research and advise on payments.

• Continually stay abreast of Tangoe’s software products and processes. Work to acquire and maintain expertise on Telecom Expense Management, (TEM) an dis expected to identify opportunities for process improvements. Work with department management and team members to define and implement best practices.


Who you are:  

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business and/or equivalent experience in a similar position

• 2+ years’ experience

• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills are required with the ability to continuously transition from one objective to another

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists

• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

• Strong financial and accounting skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
