Job Summary: The Senior Oracle EBS Business Analyst is responsible for defining, developing, and documenting business requirements and system rules supporting core ERP functions including Accounting, Finance, Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Costing, and Manufacturing. This role focuses heavily on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2, including hands-on configuration, functional design, and end-to-end solution delivery.

The analyst partners directly with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing leaders to optimize business processes and convert those requirements into high-quality Oracle EBS configurations and functional designs. The analyst will also lead and manage major ERP initiatives, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, clear communication, and on-time delivery. Strong functional expertise, detailed analysis, business acumen, and the ability to translate requirements into scalable Oracle EBS solutions are essential for success.

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Applications

Shift: Generally, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This is a remote position. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.   

Scope of the Role:

  • Lead analysis and solutioning of complex finance, order management, purchasing, and manufacturing business requirements within Oracle EBS 12.2
  • Perform hands-on configuration across relevant EBS modules - General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, Shipping Execution, Inventory, Bill of Materials, Work in Process, and Cost Management - including intercompany and consolidated ledger setups
  • Manage ERP projects using a defined software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology, including requirements, design, build, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization
  • Evaluate system enhancements and design Oracle EBS 12.2 solutions that best support business processes
  • Develop functional specifications for extensions, customizations, integrations, and reports
  • Plan and execute unit, integration, user acceptance testing, and regression testing
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with technical teams to resolve defects
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to recommend Oracle best practices and standardize processes
  • Support major Oracle EBS upgrades, patching cycles, and 12.2 technical/functional changes
  • Prepare functional documentation, configuration tracking, and test scripts
  • Advise users on ERP capabilities and drive adoption of optimized processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years previous IT experience 
  • 5+ years hands-on Oracle EBS 12.2 ERP functional & configuration experience
  • Strong functional knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Costing, and Manufacturing processes
  • Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional designs
  • Experience leading ERP enhancement projects or full lifecycle implementations
  • Experience training end-users and supporting functional rollouts
  • Strong project management, written and oral communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams, negotiate priorities, and drive outcomes                                                                                                                                                              

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • PMP certification
  • Oracle EBS certification (Finance, SCM, or Manufacturing)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL or Oracle database 
  • Experience implementing FP&A solutions such as Oracle EPM
  • Experience with other Oracle technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud, BI Publisher, or APEX
  • Prior development or technical exposure (PL/SQL, interfaces, APIs)
  • Experience with other Enterprise-level cloud solutions as a BA

Completion of annual cybersecurity and privacy awareness training is required, as the role aligns with the organization’s security posture and risk management practices. All duties are defined in accordance with standardizations to ensure consistency and accountability of the policies.

Working Conditions: This office-based position requires routine use of standard equipment and extended computer use. Candidates must be able to sit, use hands, fingers, and occasionally lift, squat, stoop, bend, and reach. Problem-solving, practical learning, and instruction interpretation skills are essential.
