In the role as Real Estate Development Financial Analyst you will help our team bring the next round of stories to life on the United Center campus.

As the Real Estate Development Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting a wide range of projects through clear, thoughtful financial analysis. You’ll help build and update models, assist with project evaluations, and turn complex data into insights that guide decisions. Specific Duties: (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Assist in the development and evaluation of retail, residential, office, hotel, parking, and entertainment venue models for both new construction and existing assets
  • Create and maintain mixed-use proforma statements and projections, which accurately reflect current development costs and projected revenues and expenses 
  • Perform market research to determine/verify a project’s economics and verify assumptions in models
  • Update models with actual data to evaluate the current status of various investments
  • Develop and analyze existing investment models with the ability to create new models from scratch
  • Assist with physical due diligence for broker partnerships, tenant applications, and other contracts
  • Support team in entitlement, capitalization, underwriting, and asset management
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations with the goal of making complex financial analysis easily digestible
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis from breakeven scenarios to trending vs target budget comparisons
  • Assist in other projects related to the arena and campus as necessary

 

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in commercial real estate finance required
  • Experience with complex financial models for underwriting commercial real estate properties preferred
  • Advanced experience with Excel modeling
  • Experience with ARGUS Enterprise
  • Analyst experience for a real estate development company preferred
  • Experience with presenting data to key stakeholders required

 

The pay range for this role is $90,000-105,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, 401K retirement plan with company match, paid time off and commuter benefits.
