Job Summary:

Baerlocher USA headquartered in Cincinnati, OH is looking for dedicated professional with a passion for ensuring quality. This position will play a key role in identifying and resolving issues related to product quality, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and continuously improving manufacturing processes.  

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sample Collection & Preparation: Collect raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products for testing.

  • Analytical Testing: Perform routine chemical and physical tests. Operate analytical instruments according to work instructions.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Record test results accurately in lab notebooks or digital systems such as SAP QM.

  • Instrument Calibration & Maintenance: Conduct regular calibration checks on lab equipment. Report malfunctions and assist with basic troubleshooting.

  • Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized lab environment. Follow safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of all materials and chemicals.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor lab supplies and reagents. Label and store chemicals according to hazard classifications.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure 100%- test accuracy
  • Understand and implements good laboratory practices
  • Able to work independently once priorities have been given
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Education/Relevant Industry Experience

Minimum:

  • Associate degree (science focus)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing
