Description

Job Title: Pre-Collections Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time

Location:  On-site role, frequent travel to facilities (daily/weekly), with occasional remote flexibility. 



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pre-Collections Supervisor to oversee patient pre-collection activities within our healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities:

 

Supervisory & Operational Duties

  • Lead daily pre-collection operations including on-site collections, software oversight, and patient estimate communications across multiple channels.
  • Provide training and support to facility and PAA teams, conduct performance reviews, and implement data-driven process improvements.

Collection Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze payment trends and refund data to identify inefficiencies and recommend workflow enhancements.
  • Develop predictive models and visualizations to improve forecasting and support escalation resolution strategies.

Pre-Collection Metrics & Reporting

  • Maintain and enhance dashboards tracking key metrics like collection volumes, refund trends, and site satisfaction.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to inform leadership decisions and update protocols based on performance insights.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and implement improvements
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and collections processes
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, including prior supervisory or team lead roles
  • Proficiency with healthcare software tools and billing systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to travel to multiple facilities as needed
