Job Description:
The Compliance Lead is responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial analysis, audit support, and other special projects within the Government Compliance function. This position will interface with local and segment level Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and our Government customer.
Essential Functions:
- Business System review, support, and improvement
- Prepare incurred cost claims for the Defense Communications operating segment, analysis of the respective incurred cost claims and associated questioned cost from DCAA audit reports
- Support the preparation of Forward Pricing Rate Proposals
- Support the preparation of Disclosure Statement updates and revisions
- Support various DCAA audits, including but not limited to, audits of Final Incurred Cost Proposals, Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, various internal Business Systems, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) audits.
- Assist with ad hoc requests/analysis and special projects regarding Compliance issues as needed
- Reviews, researches, analyzes and resolves issues raised by government auditors
- Cost impact analysis related to segment and/or IHO accounting changes
- Provide guidance on FAR / DFAR requirements, cost accounting standards, business system requirements, and other government accounting and compliance topics
- Conducts training sessions for employees and assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain a positive and professional rapport with government oversight personnel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; including 9+ years of experience within the area of compliance, program finance, accounting, or financial planning in the government contracting environment
- 8+ years’ experience with using FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
- 8+ years’ experience with Microsoft office (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

- Strong interpersonal skills for working in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with DCMA, DCAA, various L3Harris department personnel, and varying levels of management
- Experience with business system assessment and analysis
- Ability to problem solve, develop and implement innovative and creative solutions to issues and situations that exist in a complex and changing environment
- Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, proactive, with sound organizational skills
- CPA preferred
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington State and New York State is $86,000 - $159,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area and New York City, the salary range for this role is $98,500 - $182,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
