We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst with a strong foundation in SIEM, Asset management, Network tools, and a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and reliability of our endpoints and network infrastructure while proactively identifying and mitigating potential security risks and vulnerabilities.[1]
Responsibilities:
● Network Security Management: Monitor network traffic for potential threats, intrusions, and vulnerabilities.
● Cybersecurity Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards. Evaluate existing security measures and recommend enhancements to fortify the network infrastructure against evolving threats.
● Incident Response and Resolution: Lead incident response efforts, investigating and resolving security breaches, vulnerabilities, and incidents. Implement proactive measures to prevent future occurrences and maintain network continuity.
● Technical Expertise: Utilize expertise in SIEM, Asset Management, and Network tools to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize endpoints and network security devices and solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security tools effectively.
● Risk Assessment and Compliance: Conduct regular risk assessments, pen-tests and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps. Implement corrective actions and security controls to ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies. Lead our yearly SOC 2, Type 2 Audit.
● Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of our incidents, policies, and procedures. Generate detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders, outlining security posture, vulnerabilities, and recommended actions.
● Team Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. Collaborate on projects, initiatives, and security-related tasks to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
● Extensive experience (4+ years) as a Network Security Analyst.
● Professional certifications such as CISSP, or relevant industry certifications are desirable.
● Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting SIEM, Asset Managers, and similar tools
● Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, and security technologies.
