Job Summary
BeVera Solutions, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to provide data management, reporting, and analytical support for the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The Data Analyst will collect, evaluate, and interpret data to support strategic planning, performance measurement, and decision-making for small business utilization and program performance.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate data reporting to internal stakeholders and federal oversight offices, maintaining data integrity across multiple systems, and supporting the OSBP’s mission to promote small business participation in federal contracting opportunities.
NOTICE – CONTINGENT POSITION: This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract.
Data Analyst (OSBP) - Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyze data related to small business participation, subcontracting goals, and program performance.
- Compile and interpret acquisition, contract, and vendor data from government systems (e.g., FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, eSRS, or agency-specific tools).
- Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, and databases to support OSBP leadership with timely, accurate insights.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, summaries, and presentations for senior leadership, the Contracting Office, and other stakeholders.
- Support the analysis of trends in small business utilization, socio-economic category performance, and vendor outreach effectiveness.
- Coordinate with program and acquisition staff to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal reporting standards.
- Assist in developing performance metrics, visualizations, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for program evaluation.
- Support the preparation of congressional, audit, or agency reporting packages, ensuring all data is consistent and compliant.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for data collection, reporting automation, and database management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity in accordance with federal data governance and cybersecurity requirements.
Educational and Experience Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or database management—preferably supporting a federal government program or acquisition office.
- Demonstrated experience using data analytics tools and techniques to produce accurate and actionable reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts) and at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Microsoft Power Automate dashboards.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition data systems such as FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, eSRS, or USASpending.gov.
- Strong knowledge of small business programs, socio-economic categories (8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, SDB), and reporting requirements preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint or Teams.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation or obtain a security clearance if required by the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a Small Business Office (OSBP) or federal contracting/acquisition environment.
- Knowledge of federal procurement data structures, socio-economic reporting requirements, and compliance metrics.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) or automation tools for streamlining data workflows.
- Experience in dashboard creation and KPI tracking for program performance management.
