Your Role at a Glance

The Corporate Development Analyst plays a critical role in supporting mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. This position involves conducting financial analysis, market research, and transaction coordination to help drive the company’s growth strategy.

How You’ll Drive Success

Financial Modeling & Valuation

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess company valuations.
  • Forecast potential outcomes of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Identify key financial metrics and trends to support decision-making.

Due Diligence & Market Research

  • Conduct comprehensive financial, operational, and commercial analysis of target companies.
  • Research industry trends, competitor landscapes, and market conditions to inform deal strategy.
  • Highlight risks, opportunities, and growth potential during evaluation.

Transaction Support & Coordination

  • Prepare pitchbooks and marketing materials for executive leadership and board presentations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to manage due diligence.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of transaction-related activities.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze large datasets and financial statements to identify KPIs and red flags.
  • Summarize findings into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all reporting and documentation.

The Talents We’re Seeking

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or related roles.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and complex spreadsheets.
  • Business intuition and a solid understanding of business operations and market conditions.
  • Problem-solving skills to navigate complex deal structures and negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail for precise financial analysis and document preparation.
