As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and build web based dashboard application for metrics as needed
- Design and develop new test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Rest Assured
- Provision AWS resources like EC2, RDS, s3 using Terraform Infrastructure as code
- Provide comprehensive qTest product support and maintenance for internal users, including troubleshooting, user training, and maximize tool adoption and effectiveness
- Lead strategic evaluation sessions with external vendors to assess solutions, drive favorable outcomes, and manage feature request pipelines to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
- Enable interfaces between different systems to improve overall operation stability as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to be part in culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- At least 2+ years of experience in full-stack software development, specifically using Java, spring based technologies
- Proven experience (7+ years ) in design and development of test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber & API’s
- Strongs hands on experience in automating shadow DOM Host, Root, and Tree objects
- Experience in provisioning AWS services like EC2, RDS , s3 and enabling the connections as needed
- Experience in Tosca automation tool is an added advantage
- Proven record in anyone of the test managements tools like qTest/ALM (site admin role preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in java full stack development
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Expertise in architecting and implementing test automation frameworks using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
