As a Software Engineer II with the Microsoft Business Industry Copilot (BIC) group, you will work with developer teams to plan and execute projects. You will identify customer needs, ensure effective solutions, and be responsible for defining the project vision while prioritizing user stories in the backlog.
You will bring effective collaboration skills, a passion for working with cloud and AI technologies, and know how to create and deliver high-impact reusable software artifacts with diverse engineering teams. Our engineers are self-starters who continually sharpen and deepen their hands-on technical skills, and they embrace ambiguity as an opportunity to lead and set direction for their team and themselves.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years experience in big data, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and search technologies.
2+ years experience with cloud services, DevOps, and AI.
1+ years experience using Azure DevOps and GitHub for project tracking

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
