We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Systems Analyst for a large manufacturing client in the Greer/Greenville area. 

This role provides technical support and deployment expertise for Level 2 Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) operating within an industrial production environment. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, supporting plant integrations, and resolving application and data-related issues that directly impact manufacturing performance.

The position requires hands-on technical involvement across application support, system configuration, and operational troubleshooting while working closely with plant engineering, operations, and IT infrastructure teams.

 

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 Depending on Experience

Type: Long Term Contract position with possibility of Contract-to-Hire

 

Core Duties

  • Implement and maintain Level 2 MES platforms supporting manufacturing equipment and production workflows
  • Coordinate with site personnel to validate operational requirements and system behavior
  • Execute functional testing, system validation, and go-live support activities
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across applications, databases, integrations, and infrastructure layers
  • Modify configuration settings, application logic, and SQL scripts as required to support operational needs
  • Deliver technical support to end users and system owners in a production environment
  • Develop and deliver system training and technical documentation
  • Participate in multi-site MES support initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations

 

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Demonstrated experience administering and supporting Windows-based application platforms
  • Proficiency with at least one object-oriented programming language 
  • Practical experience working with relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals relevant to industrial system communications
  • Ability to clearly document issues and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences
  • Experience contributing to system upgrades, refactoring, or modernization initiatives
  • Familiarity with issue tracking, service management, or reporting tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
  • Previous experience diagnosing system issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers
