As a Solutions Analyst III in Commercial & Investment Bank Global Liquidity & Account Shared Services (GLASS), you will aid in bridging the gap between product owners, business, operations, and software developers by leveraging your technical fluency and strong analytical reasoning skills. Your responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting business and data flow requirements, translating them into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. Your adaptability and ability to lead through change will enable you to navigate complex situations and manage dependencies effectively. With a strong foundation in data analytics and technical solutions, you will contribute to the development of innovative architecture designs and data-driven insights that guide business decisions. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will ensure clear and concise information exchange with diverse stakeholder audiences, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.

 

The Global Liquidity & Account Shared Services (GLASS) is a key function within Commercial & Investment Banking Technology and is responsible for the cash accounts for the International region (Demand Deposit Accounting), Global Liquidity and associated middleware, the teams are based in Bournemouth, London, Tampa, NY Metro, Chicago, Singapore, Mumbai and Bangalore. This is a technical analyst role within the Account Services Technology team, where we are looking to build out a new capability leveraging our existing DDA/Sub Ledger/Model Bank capability & other evolving opportunities. The role will require cross CIB platform requirements co-ordination for integration across our existing and new services.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to define, document, and manage technical requirements and solutions throughout the full SDLC
  • Acts as a liaison between business lines and development teams, translating strategic goals into technology solutions and vice versa
  • Manages system migrations by analyzing data mapping requirements and refining migration tooling to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer
  • Builds strong relationships with key sponsors in Technology, Product, and Operations to achieve common goals
  • Captures business requirements and use cases, including screen designs, while working within an Agile construct
  • Aligns detailed technical requirements with strategic business goals for both short-term and long-term roadmaps in partnership with product managers
  • Prioritizes tasks, manages blockers, and escalates issues in collaboration with product managers
  • Demonstrates experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Ensures requirements are implemented as specified by partnering closely with developers and acting as the SME on the Agile team
  • Coordinates and validates test cases, including UAT, and supports release and deployment management
  • Troubleshoots issues by working with Level 1 and Level 2 support teams and business stakeholders

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the Temenos T24 Banking Application or similar products, with a focus on Interest, Tax, Swift Payments, Accounting, Reporting, Sweeps, and Close of Business processing
  • Applies advanced knowledge of business processes, data analysis, and the ability to construct complex data queries
  • Possesses advanced understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Collaborates effectively with product management teams and customers to deliver technical solutions
  • Utilizes strong facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and continual improvement skills
  • Applies solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile development methodologies, ensuring Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are followed
  • Translates effectively between business/Product Owner and Agile development teams
  • Presents confidently to senior management and documents product requirements using Confluence and JIRA
  • Demonstrates curiosity and attention to detail, challenging requirements to improve outcomes

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

  • Possesses knowledge of Treasury and Banking, with an understanding of ledgering
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills with experience in multiple technologies, for example: Transact / T24 or similar product knowledge
  • Drives continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and recommending best practices for business analysis activities
  • Exhibits excellent documentation skills and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams
