We are currently searching for a Lead Software Engineer -Test:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor the quality gating and automation strategy for projects, focusing on code coverage and the optimal balance between API and UI-level functionality.
  • Work closely with software engineers to embed quality, ensuring proper test and code coverage, configuration quality, monitoring, and early performance testing.
  • Develop and implement QA standards, processes, tools, and methodologies; partner with other functions to establish testing requirements.
  • Document performance test strategies and test plans; translate complex system requirements into testing methods.
  • Identify and implement complex automation efforts; direct the evaluation of manual testing tools for automation opportunities.
  • Define and implement best practices for end-to-end application performance management solutions and focus on emerging technologies.
  • Manage medium-sized projects/initiatives, leading a segment of larger initiatives and assigning day-to-day work.
  • Analyze code review reports and development quality to ensure best practices are being followed.
  • Act as the first-review for project-level reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in Java, Selenium, TDD/BDD, and API Automation Testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Microservices Automation.
  • Expertise in building automation frameworks, acceptance and integration test automation scripts, and integrating them with other tools.
  • Experience with modern testing tools such as Playwright and Cucumber.
  • Successfully designed and developed cloud-ready REST APIs utilizing industry best practices.
  • Successfully led multiple test paths simultaneously and ensured the quality of application codebases and alignment with development standards.
  • Proven experience building ADA and WCAG compliant web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of programming, tools, architecture patterns, and BDD.
  • Good understanding of JavaScript.
  • Experience overseeing the coding, testing, and review process for unit and integration testing.

Desired:

  • Focus on Performance and Scalability for applications and platforms.
  • Experience in vendor assessment and evaluating/recommending software development tools.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
