Overview

The Junior Business Analyst is an entry-level to early-career role designed for individuals interested in building a foundation in business analysis and project management within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Junior Business Analyst supports the Project Management Office by performing administrative, coordination, and documentation tasks that ensure projects are executed efficiently and transparently.

This role focuses primarily on project and task administration, supporting project managers, maintaining project management systems, and facilitating effective communication across teams. The Junior BA will also assist with basic business analysis activities, documentation, and process support as they grow into the role.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project & Administrative Support

  •  Maintain and update tasks, timelines, and deliverables within the project management system
  •  Assist Project Managers with administrative project tasks
  •  Schedule project meetings and document meeting notes
  •  Track action items and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution

Business Analysis Support

  •  Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements
  •  Support workflow, process and procedural documentation
  •  Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination, including test tracking and issue documentation 

Reporting & Documentation

  •  Prepare basic reports, summaries and dashboards
  •  Maintain organized project, governance and compliance documentation in accordance to ePMO standards

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of related experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

The work is of an intellectual nature. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Specific vision abilities required include close and medium distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal sounds, distinguish sound as voice and communicate through human speech. This position requires the ability to operate a keyboard, computer mouse, telephone, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard office equipment. On an occasion, an employee will be asked to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.
