A leading specialty metals manufacturer is seeking an Industrial Engineer / Analyst to drive lean initiatives, develop analytical systems, and support process optimization across operations. In this role, you’ll partner with plant leadership to implement continuous improvement strategies, analyze performance metrics, and lead kaizen events that improve productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.

Analyze manufacturing data and reports to identify productivity and quality improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies across departments.
Facilitate kaizen and continuous improvement events with supervisors and operators.
Provide training and coaching on lean theories, methodologies, and tools.
Partner with plant leaders to close business gaps and sustain process improvements.
Troubleshoot and improve existing databases, data collection, and reporting tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, technology, quality, accounting, and production control).
Lead project planning, staffing, and resource allocation for assigned initiatives.
Prepare reports and presentations for management, outlining progress and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
2+ years of related engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
2+ years of manufacturing experience, with exposure to process improvement or project engineering.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
Experience in project management, including planning and resource allocation.
Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior management.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
