Reports to Engineering Manager

Salary Range - $90,000 - $120,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Accomplish baseline configuration management for hardware, software, systems, test and all controlled documentation / reports by owning, executing change control board (CCB) and CM process improvements

·      Identify, organize, and control configuration changes, version controls baseline management and engineering releases. Coordination of Engineering Change Request/Notices (ECR/ECNs) and the approval of the documents per company procedures

·      Coordinate ECNs with Engineering and Operations to identify implementation /effectivity aspects

·      Develop and maintain tools for standardizing drawing and document release reviews

·      Identify, coordinate and drive processes for version management, system build, archiving, and change management via chairing configuration control board

Coordinate and support peer reviews, engineering reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, TIM) and program reviews PMR

Manage and maintain production, engineering design and test templates

·      Monitor & manage parts obsolescence

·      Manage counterfeit parts program


SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

 ·      Minimum 3 to 5 years of configuration management experience

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to adapt to change and fast-pace working environment

·      Working knowledge of the MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

·      Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools (Arena or equivalent) is a plus

·      Familiarity with space industry standard EEE-INST-002 is a plus

Familiarity with aerospace DO-178, DO-254 and Mil Standards are a plus

Technical writing and proofreading experience are desirable

·      Components Engineering experience for mil/aero and/or space programs is a plus

·      Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as cohesively within a team environment with minimal supervision

 EDUCATION:

AS degree in Engineering (or equivalent).

Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the United States
