The Compliance and Performance Analyst is responsible for ensuring organizational policies, procedures, and operations meet regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards. This role combines policy development, quality improvement initiatives, compliance monitoring, and support for licensing and accreditation processes. The analyst will evaluate current practices, identify areas for improvement, and help the organization maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

Policy Development & Management:

  • Draft, review, and update organizational policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure policies are practical, clear, and enforceable.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of policies and ensure accessibility to staff.
  • Administer the policy management system, including user permissions, updates, and workflow management.

Quality Improvement & Assurance:

  • Monitor and assess organizational processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Develop reports and metrics to track quality initiatives and compliance performance.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Ensure organizational adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and facilitate corrective action.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements.

Licensing & Accreditation Support:

  • Assist with preparation for licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring documentation and practices meet standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and internal teams to maintain licensure and accreditation requirements.
  • Track deadlines and manage documentation for renewals or inspections.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with department managers, leadership, and external regulators.
  • Prepare regular reports on quality, compliance, and policy implementation.
  • Serve as a resource for staff on policy interpretation and compliance-related questions.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Required: Post-secondary education and at least 2 years of experience in behavioral health, SUD services, healthcare administration, compliance, quality improvement, or related fields.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, including in remote environments.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, policy management software, quality systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them to organizational practices.
  • Analytical skills for reviewing data, identifying trends, and supporting quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health/SUD best practices and compliance standards (preferred).

Annual pay rate is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00, contingent on experience and education.

This role is 100% remote. Only applicants from the following states will be considered: CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, ME, MA, NH, OH, RI, VA, NJ, NY, AR, MN, PA, TX.
