The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights that drive product and membership strategy and for being a strategic contributor to the Product Management team. The Analyst leverages data, beyond reporting, to answer complex business questions, uncover patterns, and connect the dots across member behavior, product performance, and market dynamics. The Analyst uses foundational data modeling and data science techniques to deliver actionable intelligence that informs decision-making and enhances member value.
What you will do here:
Business Intelligence & Insights: Use data to answer strategic questions, uncover root causes, and connect disparate data points into cohesive insights. Deliver business intelligence that informs decisions and solves problems
Data Interpretation & Modeling: Apply foundational data modeling and exploration data science techniques (e.g., regression, clustering) to uncover patterns in member behavior and product usage. Collaborate with data teams to refine models and ensure data integrity.
Product & Membership Analytics: Retrieve, aggregate, and analyze data to evaluate product performance and member engagement across deposit, lending, and card products. Develop and monitor KPIs related to membership growth, retention, and segmentation.
Reporting & Visualization: Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide timely, actionable insights. Translate complex data into clear narratives that support strategic decisions and product enhancements.
Market & Competitive Research: Conduct market research using industry sources to analyze trends, pricing, and competitor strategies. Integrate external insights with internal data to inform product positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Strategy and Program Management, and Member Experience teams to translate insights into product strategies, GTM plans, and member-centric initiatives.

What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field required.
2+ years of experience in product or business analysis, preferably in financial services required.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) required.
Familiarity with Python or R for foundational data science tasks required.
Strong analytical and storytelling skills; ability to connect data to strategy required.
Experience with membership segmentation, cohort analysis, and lifecycle metrics required.
Proven ability to use data to answer business questions and drive strategic outcomes required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
