As a Business Analyst I- Inbound Claims Support, in Total Consumer Operations you will be responsible for delivering top notch support that is vital to the Consumer and Community Bank.

You will leverage your advanced understanding of data analytics and automation technologies to uncover patterns, analyze complex data sets, and propose innovative solutions and your expertise in cross-functional collaboration will enable you to work effectively with diverse teams, ensuring alignment with business strategies. You will also utilize your advanced computer literacy and digital proficiency to enhance processes and customer interactions you will assist in coaching and delegating tasks to others, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team and your decisions and work results will have a significant impact on the team and departmental goals, contributing to the overall success of the firm. The Fraud Prevention and Claims, Disputes (FCPS) Inbound Call Center team supports the intake channels for their organization including call centers and digital channels that support FCPS and Recovery and this role is specifically aligned to the Business Support organization within the Inbound Call Center and is focused on executing changes in business owned tables housed in the Consolidated Claims System (CCS)

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets using advanced data analytics skills to support operational initiatives and strategic decision-making.

  • Utilize automation technologies to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support the implementation of business strategies.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to team members, ensuring tasks and responsibilities are aligned with project objectives for efficient and effective outcomes.

  • Leverage digital platforms and technological tools to improve processes, enhance customer interactions, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

  • Complete adhoc business reviews/analytics requests, business cases, etc. and present findings/recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Develop Business Requirements for reporting or IT projects for CCS table and/or other changes and provide support for all scheduled project implementations and Audit and Central Operations Reporting (CORE) support
  • Perform statistical analysis on large data sets, leading to insights about improving the business, using tools like SAS, Tableau, Python, Alteryx, etc. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and interpret complex data sets, with proven expertise equivalent to 2+ years of experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in using automation technologies to optimize processes and implement business strategies.

  • A Controls focus with the ability to balance Business and Customer needs, risk based assessments and decision making 
  • Proven self-starter and able to easily accept change and able to multitask
  • Communication skills, with practical experience with presentations and ability to work with all levels of employees/management, and strong listening skills
  • Action oriented - able to meet assigned deadlines in a fast paced environment (some of them immediate), Negotiation/problem resolution skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 4+ years’ of related experience in Business Analysis, Business Management, Program Management or Controls and good understanding of program/project management disciplines
  • Must have proven ability to work with large-scale/complex issues with all levels of management. Ability to work effectively across functional and organizational lines.
  • Possess the ability to quickly understand, extract, and manipulate unfamiliar data environments and translate technical details, observations and results into business language
  • Some practical experience, internships or co-ops in an analytics or modeling discipline and able to translate problems and solutions into business ready deliverables
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and with internal applications, specifically Consolidated Claims System/ERBE, Loss Avoidance Database
  • Experience working remotely with a supervisor and/or other team members
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
