The Affordability Analytics Analyst II supports the Affordability team by conducting data analysis and developing insights that enhance healthcare affordability. This role applies professional skills with limited supervision, contributing to team objectives and improving outcomes. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on analytics initiatives and deliver actionable insights through dashboards and reports. Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct analyses of healthcare affordability data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Apply standardized methodologies for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership, articulating key findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in prioritizing analytics tasks and managing timelines for timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members and business units to implement data collection processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to address data needs and align analytics initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation for analytics processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data analysis methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in analytics practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3 years of work experience beyond degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Healthcare Analytics, Healthcare Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel) and visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to interpret data sets and present findings clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite, on average, 3 days per week. We are open to candidates located near one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN, or Madison, WI.

The full salary grade for this position is $61,500 - $105,400. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $61,500 - $92,190. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.  In addition to compensation, Medica offers a generous total rewards package that includes competitive medical, dental, vision, PTO, Holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services and many other benefits to support our employees.
